Job Description

Construction Project Manager US Frame Factory | New Iberia, LA | Hybrid, Full-Time | Reports to the CEO The Opportunity US Frame Factory is one of the fastest-growing cold-formed steel framing manufacturers in the South. We manufacture metal studs, track, trusses, and prefabricated wall panels for commercial projects across the Southern US, with a focus on hospitality and multifamily construction. We are hiring a Construction Project Manager to own our largest projects from sales handoff through final delivery and a satisfied customer. You will be the person our GCs, framers, and owners rely on once a job is awarded: running kickoff, managing submittals and RFIs, coordinating delivery schedules, and solving problems before they reach the jobsite. We are recruiting from the construction side of the table on purpose. If you have run commercial projects at a GC or specialty subcontractor, you already speak the language this role requires: schedule, scope, sequencing, and accountability. We will invest in building your cold-formed steel product depth. What we cannot teach is the discipline to move a complex job forward without dropping a single ball. That part you bring with you.
What You'll Own Project Command:
Own project kickoff and onboarding: roles, communication cadence, and expectations from day one Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders with speed and precision Drive delivery scheduling and logistics coordination between our plant and the jobsite Receive large-project handoffs from sales and own them through delivery and customer satisfaction review
Technical Leadership:
Review shop drawings and submittal packages for accuracy and constructability before release Support pre-construction conversations with GCs and owners on system options and constructability Be the first call when field conditions change: diagnose the problem and drive a practical solution Help GC field teams build with our products correctly, reducing callbacks and building repeat customers Who We're Looking For 3 to 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction at a GC, specialty subcontractor, or manufacturer A proven track record managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and delivery coordination on active projects Ability to read, interpret, and critically review shop drawings and engineering documents A clear communicator across every level, from the shop floor to the owner's table Highly organized with a bias for action; you close loops without being chased Someone who will own projects, customer satisfaction, and the technical knowledge associated with delivering on technical framing projects Nice to Have Familiarity with IBC, AISI, or other CFS-relevant code standards Experience with Procore, Buildertrend, or similar project management software Background at a manufacturer or building materials supplier Why This Role Is Different Most construction PM jobs put you at the mercy of subs, weather, and other people's mistakes. In this seat, you represent the manufacturer. You are the expert in the room, you control the product and the schedule on our side, and your job is to make our customers' projects run smoother than they expected. You report directly to the CEO, your work directly shapes whether customers come back, and as the company grows toward $100M, this seat grows with it. Our Culture US Frame Factory is on a mission to build up communities through better construction products. We are Fanatical Builders obsessed with detail and high-quality work, Young Spirited optimists who own our failures and keep moving, Long-Term Wealth Builders who value steady effort over shortcuts, Scrappy Innovators who put outcome over ego, and Grateful Warriors who fight hard to win and know we don't do it alone.
