Job Description

Job Title:
Embroidery Operator Job Overview:
The Embroidery Operator is primarily responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of Soundscape's embroidery department. Tasks include operating commercial embroidery machines, hooping garments, preparing and digitizing names and logos, monitoring jobs for quality, maintaining embroidery equipment and supplies, touching up completed orders, and accurately counting, sorting, and preparing garments for packing. The Embroidery Operator is expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties:
Operate commercial embroidery machines and assist with embroidery department operations Hoop and prepare garments for embroidery production Digitize names, logos, and other artwork as needed Monitor embroidery jobs and finished garments for accuracy and quality Accurately count, sort, and pack pieces from multiple jobs Fold, pack, stage, and count printed and non-printed garments Verify garment size, color, brand, and quantity prior to packing Touch up embroidery orders before packing Maintain inventory of embroidery supplies, including backing, bobbins, thread, and other materials, and identify items that need to be reordered Maintain a neat, organized, and efficient production work area Perform routine preventive maintenance on embroidery machines, including oiling and greasing Troubleshoot production and equipment issues as needed Identify and suggest opportunities to improve department efficiency and workflow
Job Qualifications:
Previous experience operating commercial embroidery machines; Barudan experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality is an absolute must Reliable transportation to Belchertown Punctuality. Do not be late Strong work ethic Able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment Team player; we are a small team working toward the same goal
Job Wage:
$24-$28
Job Hours:
Full-time - Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5pm
