As we head into our busiest season of the year, we're looking for a Weekend Studio Assistant (Perfume & Candlemaking) to join us at our South Boston studio. This is a hands-on, production-focused role for someone who genuinely enjoys making things, working with their hands, staying organized, and paying close attention to detail. The primary focus of this position will be candle and perfume production , including pouring, bottling, labeling, packaging, and preparing finished products for the holiday season. You'll also help keep our studio organized and support other studio needs as they arise. What You'll Do You'll work alongside our small team to help prepare Lifebloom products for the holiday season.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with candle production, including preparing vessels, wicking, pouring, finishing, and labeling Assisting with perfume production, including measuring, bottling, labeling, and packaging Preparing products for retail, online orders, markets, and events Assembling packaging and other product components Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient production workspace Keeping materials, tools, and supplies organized throughout production Following recipes, measurements, processes, and quality standards carefully Checking finished products for consistency, accuracy, and presentation Supporting other studio and holiday-season tasks as needed Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Love making things and working with your hands Are extremely detail-oriented and notice when something isn't quite right Enjoy repetitive, process-driven work and take pride in doing it consistently Are a quick learner and can follow detailed instructions accurately Are organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently once trained Can stay focused and efficient without sacrificing quality Enjoy working in a creative, hands-on environment Are comfortable standing for extended periods and completing physical production tasks Can safely lift and move boxes, supplies, and production materials as needed Previous candle-making, fragrance, manufacturing, fulfillment, crafting, ceramics, baking, jewelry-making, floral, art studio, or other hands-on production experience is a plus, but it is not required. More important to us is that you're someone who enjoys the process of making, takes pride in getting the details right, learns quickly, and can be counted on to produce consistent work. Schedule This is a temporary, part-time seasonal position based at our South Boston studio and available through the end of the 2026 holiday season. Weekend availability is required. Applicants should be able to commit consistently to the agreed-upon weekend schedule throughout the holiday season. About Lifebloom Lifebloom is a small, founder-led fragrance brand based in Boston. Our candles are hand-poured in concrete vessels, and our growing perfume collection and in-person experiences are centered around scent, creativity, and thoughtful craftsmanship. We're looking for someone who takes pride in the work behind the scenes and understands that the details—from a perfectly placed label to a consistently finished candle—matter.
