Job Title:

General Production Worker Job Description This role supports the fabrication and production of foam products by operating equipment, handling materials, and performing basic assembly tasks. You will help keep production lines running smoothly by loading and unloading materials, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work area while following established safety and production guidelines. Responsibilities Assist on the fabrication and production line to ensure consistent output of foam products. Load, feed, and remove materials from machines in a safe and efficient manner. Perform basic assembly, cutting, or trimming of foam products according to specifications. Inspect parts and finished products for quality, defects, and adherence to standards. Use basic hand tools and production equipment as required for daily tasks. Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure correct dimensions. Follow safety procedures and production guidelines at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift. Support team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet production goals. Adapt to a fast-paced production environment and meet daily or shift-based quotas as needed. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production machinery. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Basic math skills to perform simple measurements and calculations. Basic reading skills to follow written instructions, safety guidelines, and production documentation. Experience with general labor tasks in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Ability to operate or learn to operate production and machine equipment. Attention to detail for inspecting parts and identifying defects. Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs as required. Reliability and strong attendance habits to support consistent production schedules. Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience. Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment with quotas. Comfort using hand tools in a production or fabrication setting. Willingness to participate in hands-on training, shadowing, and on-the-job learning during the initial training period. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position follows a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with two breaks during the shift. Employees are expected to arrive a few minutes early for a mandatory 7:00 AM meeting at the start of each workday. The first three weeks involve heavy training, including shadowing experienced team members and observing production processes, with the pace adjusted based on how quickly you learn the job. The role takes place in a manufacturing and production environment working around machinery, foam products, and general labor tasks, where you will stand for most of the shift and may lift up to 50 lbs as needed. The work setting is fast-paced and quota-driven, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and organized work areas. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Foxborough, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
