Take the next step in your career journey with Gemline—we're not just a company; we're a community. This position will report to the Embroidery Department Supervisor. Key Responsibilities
- Operate embroidery machines efficiently and safely to meet production goals.
- Set up machines with correct threads, designs, and order specifications.
- Verify style numbers, thread colors, placement, and orientation for accuracy.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and hands-on technical adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Monitor embroidery quality throughout production to ensure customer standards are met.
- Address thread breaks, bobbin changes, and machine issues promptly.
- Record accurate production and quality information on production sheets and systems.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations.
- Always follow standard work procedures and safety guidelines.
- Communicate equipment or production concerns to supervisors.
- Support other departmental operations as required. Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous experience operating industrial embroidery machinery.
- Ability to set-up and troubleshoot machinery.
- Read and understand English production paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing is a plus
