Monday-Thursday, 4:30 p.m.-3:00 a.m. Position Summary Production Operator is responsible for operating equipment and completing production activities efficiently, accurately, and safely. This position operates a variety of ECC saws and performs quality checks to ensure products meet company specifications, production standards, and Quality Management System requirements. Responsibilities Operate and verify the quality of work produced on a variety of ECC saws involving close tolerances. Perform routine and repetitive operations consistently while meeting quality and production standards. Operate ECC saws that have been set up for production. Read and follow drawings, specifications, traveler instructions, and other work instructions. Conduct quality inspections using fixed and adjustable precision measuring devices. Maintain required tooling and make adjustments as needed to manufacture parts to specifications. Lubricate, clean, and perform basic care of machines as necessary. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Make suggestions to improve processes, efficiency, and overall operations. Perform multiple operations as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company, department, quality, and safety policies and procedures. Report job-related problems and other work-related information to the Area Lead. Maintain a positive attitude and promote teamwork throughout the department. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow written instructions, drawings, specifications, and production documentation. Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment. Previous experience operating ECC saws is preferred but not required. Commitment to quality, safety, productivity, and teamwork. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to occasionally: Walk, sit, balance, stoop, reach, talk, and hear. Use hands and fingers to handle tools, materials, controls, and equipment. Lift and move up to 40 pounds. Use close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision. Adjust focus as needed to perform job duties safely and accurately. Work involves operating manufacturing equipment and following established safety practices.
