Job Title:

Packer Job Description As a packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and delivery of products to our customers. You will be stationed at the end of each production line as the final touchpoint before products are shipped. Responsibilities Remove products from the end of the production line. Perform visual quality inspections. Measure products for length, width, and dexterity as required. Enter simple data into the computer system. Pack boxes with products for shipping. Essential Skills Experience in production, general labor, and packing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative during slower periods. Proficiency in reading and writing English. Capability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted. Additional Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated ability to maintain a full-time job and adhere to a set schedule. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a production environment with shifts from 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am on a two-on, two-off, three-on, three-off schedule. The facility includes 20 production lines, each with a dedicated packer. Please note that the shop is not temperature-controlled, resulting in hot conditions during the summer and cold conditions during the winter. Our workforce is highly diverse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.20 - $17.85/hr.
