Production Assistant Job Description Knife Drop Studios, the production company behind celebrity chef and social media personality Nick DiGiovanni, is hiring an hourly Production Assistant to support our team. This role is based in-person and candidates must currently live in the Greater Boston Area. Who we're looking for We are looking for a highly reliable, resourceful, and hardworking Production Assistant to support a wide range of projects across Nick DiGiovanni's video channels. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who loves production, thrives in a constantly changing environment, and is excited to do whatever it takes to help make great videos happen. The right person is organized, proactive, positive under pressure, and willing to jump into any task with a great attitude. Who you'll work with As a Production Assistant, you'll work closely with Nick DiGiovanni and the production team to help organize shoots, run errands, assist with setup and breakdown and support the day-to-day operations of the production process What you'll bring to the team Currently live in the Greater Boston Area Valid U.S. driver's license and have reliable access to a car 1-2+ years experience working in video or theater production environments Highly flexible schedule, including ability to work early mornings, late nights, weekdays and weekends Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump into any task, big or small Strong communication skills over text, email, and in person Ability to stay organized, move quickly, and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Interest in food, cooking, and food content is a major plus Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in film, media production, communications, or a related field
