Job Description

Production Lead Job Summary The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production activities to ensure seaweed snacks are produced safely, efficiently, and according to company quality and production standards. The Production Lead supports production employees, monitors line performance, and works closely with Quality and Maintenance to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities  Lead and coordinate daily production activities and employee assignments.  Ensure production lines operate according to approved procedures, specifications, and schedules.  Monitor product quality, weights, seasoning application, packaging, coding, and overall line performance.  Ensure employees follow GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.  Monitor production output, downtime, waste, and efficiency.  Identify and report equipment, quality, or production issues to the appropriate department.  Coordinate with Quality Assurance on product holds, deviations, corrective actions, and inspections.  Verify proper use of raw materials, packaging materials, and production equipment.  Complete and review required production records and documentation.  Assist with employee training, work instructions, and proper production procedures.  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.  Support continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and improve productivity. Qualifications  1-2 years of production or food manufacturing experience preferred.  Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.  Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
