In this role, you will audit, correct, and optimize component data, ensuring standardized part numbering, accurate manufacturer attribution, and precise Bills of Materials (BOMs). You will play a key role in aligning internal planning with purchasing by streamlining item master records and resolving structural data discrepancies. Responsibilities Audit ERP item records to identify off-the-shelf components lacking complete vendor or manufacturer metadata and update them accordingly. Eliminate distributor-specific part entries by transitioning item masters to standardized original manufacturer designations. Locate, merge, and clean up duplicate part entries across the database to maintain a single source of truth. Revise and restructure Bills of Materials (BOMs) to reflect consolidated part numbers and correct Make-vs.-Buy indicators. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations teams to balance competing task priorities and support procurement needs. Proactively suggest and execute workflow enhancements to prevent data drift and improve long-term system health.

Qualifications Experience:
5+ years in data governance, configuration management, or technical documentation within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Systems Expertise:
Hands-on experience navigating enterprise ERP/MRP systems (Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, or similar platform).Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference engineering drawings and schematics.Software Skills:
Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfortable with collaboration platforms like Point.Change Management:
Firm grasp of engineering change notices (ECNs), revision controls, and lifecycle management workflows.Benefits
