Job Description

The Career Development, Internship and Job Services (CDIJS) office facilitates student learning and career development in the areas of career exploration, career planning, experiential education through internships; and job services programs for students and alumni. The Campus Career Influencer will serve as a student ambassador for the CDIJS office, promoting career readiness resources, events, and opportunities to fellow students. This role is ideal for outgoing, engaged students who are active on campus and interested in supporting peers with their career development journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote Career Development, Internship and Job Services (CDIJS) events, workshops, and job/internship opportunities through campus tabling, peer-to-peer outreach, and classroom visits.

Work with HCC's Public Relations & Marketing office to create engaging social media content (e.g., Instagram stories, posts, videos, reels) that highlight career tips, student success stories, and upcoming events.

Serve as a liaison between the student body and CDIJS by gathering feedback and identifying student needs.

Assist with planning and staffing career events such as job fairs, employer info sessions, and career-readiness workshops/clinics.

Assist in creating and distributing flyers and promotional materials across campus.

Collaborate with student clubs, faculty, and campus departments to increase awareness of career resources.

Work at the annual Career Expo event in the Spring semester.

Represent CDIJS and the College in a professional and positive manner. Benefits of the
