•20.00/per hour depending on experience, OT pay for weekend hours Do you enjoy outdoor work but tired of landscaping and construction layoffs when work is slow? Do you like working in a farm environment around animals and ensuring they are cared for? Our client is seeking dedicated individuals to support our farm operations and contribute to the health and performance of our animals. This is a biotech supplier (no animals are harmed or mistreated!) This is a perfect job for a former FFA member who is interested in blending your farm and production skills background for a new career! Responsibilities Follow biosecurity policies and SOPs Perform animal care tasks (sample collection, grading, blood sampling, monitoring, maintenance) Monitor health of the animals and report issues promptly Clean and disinfect facilities and equipment Oversee basic mechanical systems (feed, water, ventilation, sample collection) Support animal transitions and farm operations Maintain accurate records and basic, but accurate data entry Qualifications Strong commitment to biosecurity and hygiene protocols Ability to perform hands-on work with live animals Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Ability to work independently and in a team Comfortable using tablets/smartphones for data entry Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Preferred (But Not Required) Experience with farm equipment (forklifts, loaders, etc.) Knowledge of animal health management Requirements
