No Degree RequiredResponsibilities1. Machine Setup & Preparation Feed raw materials: Load hoppers with plastic pellets, color concentrates, or additives according to batch recipes. Install dies & tooling: Clean, select, and install specific shaping dies, guides, and sizing sleeves required for the production run.

Configure parameters:

Set initial barrel zone temperatures, screw speeds, feed rates, vacuum pressures, and puller speeds based on manufacturing specs. 2. Production Operations & Process Control Startup and purging: Heat up zones to target operating temperatures, purge degraded resin or previous colors, and feed the initial melt through the puller/cooling system.

Monitor equipment:

Keep continuous watch over temperature profiles, pressure gauges, motor amps, screw RPM, and line speeds to maintain process stability.

Adjust controls:

Make real-time adjustments to correct variations in wall thickness, outer diameter, surface finish, or material color. 3. Quality Control & Inspection Dimension checks: Measure finished extrusions using micrometers, calipers, wall-thickness gauges, or optical comparators at set intervals.

Visual inspection:

Examine output for visual defects such as surface roughing, voids, air bubbles, streakiness, or warping.
