Job Description
We are hiring Press Operators to join a growing production team in Dundee. This position is responsible for operating and adjusting production press equipment while maintaining required quality and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement!
•These openings will be on midnight shift but will require training on 1st shift until October 1st!
•Key Responsibilities Prepare, adjust, and operate production press equipment based on product plans and production schedules Verify raw materials are available for production needs Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications Accurately record counts and production times in PLEX Report all miss-hits, miss-hits ("miss-hits") and press errors to the supervisor Notify supervisor of all "miss-hits" Document and complete blue books / blue book entries accurately and as required Maintain production efficiency and meet expected output rates Follow quality operational procedures to ensure consistent, high-standard products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Contribute continuous improvement ideas to optimize processes Work collaboratively in a team environment Cross-train in additional production areas as needed Maintain regular attendance and dependable performance Perform other duties as assigned Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and at least 1 year experience in metal fabrication and/or press operation. Must also be able to stand for an 8+ hour shift, lift up to 50lbs., and have a strong attention to detail. Why Join Us? Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
