Our Client a local food manufacturing company in Ferndale is seeking experienced food manufacturing associates to join their team!

Shifts Available:

1st Shift 6:00 AM

• 2:30 PM 2nd Shift 2:30 PM
• 11:30 AM 3rd Shift 10:30 PM

Ferndale, MI Position type: Full time, long term, permanent Responsibilities for the

Food Manufacturing Associate:

Ensure correct production dates and codes are applied to all containers and packaging. Set and verify box printer dates and codes according to customer specifications Monitor and operate metal detection equipment; stop alarms without shutting down the detector Collect, isolate, and properly label any product involved in metal detection incidents Perform quality inspections on each unit to verify proper labeling, fill levels, and date accuracy Place finished product into HPP tubes or plastic bins based on availability and processing requirements Operate case packing machines and packaging equipment as needed Box finished products into corrugated cases per customer specifications Palletize finished cases according to customer and shipping specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment Remove trash from all production areas to maintain a clean and safe work environment Clean and sanitize trash cans and receptacles before returning them to the production floor Maintain separation of recycling and non-recycling waste streams in compliance with facility standards Sweep floors and remove debris regularly throughout all areas of the facility An Ideal candidate will possess the following: Experience working in a food manufacturing environment Heavy Lifting Required Working in cold/wet environments (30 degrees) Working with chemicals Standing the entire work shift High school diploma or GED If interested, please apply to this post or visit us at: Jobs Openings Through Express Employment Professionals |
