Smurfit Westrock is seeking a 3rd Shift Inventory Control I to support accurate inventory in our manufacturing facility. This role performs cycle counts, reconciles variances, and maintains precise records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Using RF scanners and WMS/ERP tools, you'll verify inbound/outbound movements, document adjustments, and coordinate with production and shipping to ensure material availability. Working overnight in a safety-focused, performance-driven environment, you'll follow strict safety and quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement and sustainable packaging operations. Responsibilities Perform daily and weekly cycle counts on raw materials, WIP, and finished goods Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances Use RF scanners and WMS/ERP to record movements and adjustments Verify inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Maintain accurate inventory records, logs, and reports Coordinate with production, shipping, and receiving to ensure material availability Follow all plant safety, quality, and housekeeping standards on 3rd shift Support continuous improvement and inventory accuracy initiatives Required Skills Cycle counting RF scanners Warehouse inventory systems ERP/WMS software Forklift operation Data entry Microsoft Excel Root cause analysis Safety procedures Documentation and reporting
