Jackson, MI Production Associate - Metal Processing We are hiring dependable Production Associates for a metal processing facility in Jackson, MI. We currently have openings on 2nd and 3rd shift . This is a hands-on manufacturing position working with steel products and production equipment. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience are preferred, but we are also open to dependable candidates who are mechanically inclined and willing to learn. Available Shifts & Pay 2nd

3:00pm - 11:00pm — $20.00/hour 3rd

Shift:

11:00pm - 7:00am — $19.50/hour Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed based on production demands. Job Responsibilities Operate and support production equipment on the CTL (Cut-to-Length) line Package, band, and prepare finished steel products for shipment Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility Supply production lines with necessary materials Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met Read and accurately use a tape measure in both English and metric measurements Track orders, tags, and packaging requirements Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all company safety and quality procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing experience preferred Entry-level manufacturing candidates with a strong work history are encouraged to apply Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to pass a drug screen Ability to accurately read a tape measure Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift Strong attendance and dependable work history Basic math and computer skills Mechanical aptitude is a plus Forklift and/or crane experience preferred, or willingness to learn Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Comfortable working around moving equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment Exposure to heat, noise, steel products, and industrial equipment Required PPE includes steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection Requirements 2nd or 3rd shift availability Reliable transportation Dependable attendance Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
