Specialist I, Production Management (Investment) Reports to:Manager, Production Planning Location:
Lansing, MI LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) develops and manufactures large lithium ion polymer batteries and modules for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage applications. Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgenergymi.com Summary As a Specialist I, you will be involved in the project budget management, managing timeline and business planning. You will serve as an investment manager who reviews the whole investment items of specific project, guides the investment process to engineers and staffs and planning the annual business plan of factory.Responsibilities:
Set the project budgets from HQ and monitor the progress via project schedule Review the budget items list and actual investment items Communicate with HQ to control the investment issues. Plan the factory annual business plan Manage the factory investment through business plan Set up meetings between the relevant departments to managing the project budgets Analyze the gap between performance and goals and dig up improvement plan Synchronize information flow between multiple IT systems (IMS, SAP, ERS, etc.) Manage Production Life Cycle (Product order- Development
- Mass Production
- EOP) Work closely with production strategy to align production KPIs and company's goals Promptly address and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality Promptly discuss the relevant departments regarding changes to current production schedules Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3

Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experienceLanguage:
