JOB SUMMARY
Wrap Detroit is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Associate to join our graphics production team. This hands-on position includes large-format graphics production, finishing, packaging, and FedEx shipping. Training will be provided for the right candidate who is motivated, reliable, and interested in learning new production skills and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Associate will weed vinyl graphics, apply transfer mask, trim printed materials, and inspect completed work for quality and accuracy. This employee will learn how to properly load and unload materials from our large-format printers and safely operate a
KALA 1650
laminator. Additional responsibilities include packaging completed products, creating FedEx shipping labels, verifying addresses and package information, preparing shipments for pickup, maintaining tracking records, following production instructions, and keeping the production and shipping areas clean and organized.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, basic computer skills, and the ability to accurately enter shipping addresses, weights, and package dimensions. Candidates must be dependable, punctual, willing to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a team. The position requires standing for extended periods, performing repetitive production tasks, and safely lifting and handling rolls, boxes, and other production materials. Previous experience with graphics, printing, vinyl, manufacturing, packaging, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar shipping software is helpful but not required.
