Job Summary:

Operate production equipment and perform assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to produce high-quality automotive components while following standardized work instructions and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble automotive parts and components according to work instructions. Operate production machinery and automated equipment safely and efficiently. Perform visual and functional quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications. Load and unload materials from production equipment. Maintain production rates and meet daily output goals. Identify and report quality defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns. Complete required production documentation and quality records. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Keep the work area clean and organized using 5S principles. Assist with changeovers and basic machine troubleshooting when required. Work effectively as part of a team and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience in automotive (3 to 6months) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35-50 pounds throughout the shift. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement. Familiarity with quality inspection tools and production documentation. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Typical Working Conditions:

Manufacturing plant environment. 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, depending on production schedules. Frequent standing, repetitive hand motions, bending, and lifting. Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

Shifts:

1st shift: 5am start $16.00 / 2nd shift 4pm start $16.50 / 3rd shift 11pm start $16.65
