Job Description

Your roleThe Forging Operator will be a hands-on position responsible for high quality manufacturing of self-piercing rivets (SPR). Tasks include set-up and running a 6-station cold heading machine and ensure all settings are proper to achieve optimal results. Operators will be responsible for following processes as described by the work instructions and keeping work area clean and organized. You will report to the Production Supervisor and/or Team Lead.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Employees must always demonstrate safe work practicesSet-up and operate cold header machinesFollow work instructions and proceduresUnderstand and operate machine controlsChange tooling and weld coils as requiredMaintain good quality using Statistical Process ControlMaintain required production numbers while keeping scrap rates lowTroubleshoot quality issues during productionMust be able to run multiple cold-heading machines throughout shiftFollow 5-S principles To succeed, you will needWe encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. High School diploma or equivalent
