The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Works to follow established procedures or written and verbal instructions
  • Sets up spraying equipment by selecting proper nozzle and adjusting to insure uniform surface covering
  • Uses accepted spraying technique to prevent over-spray and loss of paint
  • Prepares surfaces by cleaning, if necessary, prior to applying coating
  • Must perform all work in accordance with all safety procedures
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Critical Skills & Knowledge
  • Regular attendance is essential
  • Technical/analytical focus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Capacity to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations
  • Understand fundamental flow of shop material and its problems or material handling Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Capacity to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving variable in standardized situations; understand fundamental flow of shop material and its problems or material handling
