Production Operator Job Description This role focuses on safely and efficiently unpackaging battery cell components from automated guided vehicles (AGVs), loading them onto computerized conveyor systems, and supporting a consistent production flow in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will handle repetitive, detail-oriented tasks, perform light assembly, monitor automated equipment, and contribute to high-quality battery material production. Essential Skills At least 1 year of recent manufacturing experience in a repetitive setting such as assembly, packaging, or machine operation. Demonstrated stable work history with at least 2 or more years at a previous employer and a strong record of reliability. Experience performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining consistent quality and output. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality standards during inspection and production activities. Basic computer literacy for data entry, production monitoring, and working with automated systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and time-sensitive production requirements. Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with coworkers, trainers, and supervisors. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. Minimum age of 18 years. Comfort with learning and using new technology, including automated conveyors and production systems. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Marshall, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.17 - $19.17/hr.
