The Thermoforming Associate position is a hands-on manufacturing role responsible for operating, forming, and finishing thermoformed plastic components in accordance with quality, safety, and production standards. This position supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate thermoforming equipment to produce plastic components in accordance with established specifications, work instructions, and quality standards Perform finishing operations using hand-held tools to trim, cut, or modify formed parts Conduct quality inspections and identify defects, escalating concerns as needed Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine or process issues Complete preventive maintenance (PM) tasks per schedule and documented procedures Accurately complete required documentation and production records Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S/housekeeping standards) Assist with training or onboarding of team members as directed Meet assigned production schedules and required departmental hours Other duties as assigned to support operations Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to safely operate industrial manufacturing equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and punctuality Willingness to work in a high-heat, high-noise manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Manufacturing experience in a production environment Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
