$21.75-$32.75/hr + 1st Shift Schedule | Overtime Opportunities Available Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to support daily production operations within a growing powder coating and manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating production activities, supporting employees on the floor, maintaining safety and quality standards, and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a great opportunity for a Lead Operator, Production Lead, Manufacturing Coordinator, or Supervisor who enjoys being actively involved in daily operations while helping develop a strong production team. Key Focus Lead daily production activities within a powder coating manufacturing environment. Coordinate employees, workflow, and resources to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals. Support continuous improvement, employee development, and operational efficiency. Promote a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and workplace safety. What You'll Do Coordinate daily production activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. Assign team members, balance labor needs, and adjust workflows based on production priorities. Monitor equipment, materials, and processes to identify issues and minimize downtime. Track production performance, communicate priorities, and support improvement initiatives. Provide direction, coaching, and support to production employees. Assist with cross-training efforts to increase team flexibility and manufacturing capabilities. Reinforce safety procedures, PPE requirements, machine guidelines, and workplace organization standards. Conduct safety observations, identify hazards, and support corrective actions. Perform in-process quality checks and ensure required documentation is completed accurately. Assist with resolving production issues including scrap, rework, and process concerns. Communicate important updates between production employees and leadership. Support a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of manufacturing experience with previous leadership, coordination, or team direction responsibilities. Experience supporting production teams in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, quality standards, and production processes. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation. Preferred Experience Powder coating, paint, finishing, or industrial coating experience. Sheet metal manufacturing background.
