Production Worker

Job Title:

Production Worker Job Description The Production Worker will be responsible for assembling filters by attaching screens to brackets based on work orders and instructions provided. The role involves repetitive tasks and requires standing for the entire shift. In cases where the assembly department is backed up, the worker will assist in assembling various filters and packing them into boxes. Rotation between stations is expected, with a primary focus on the spot area. Responsibilities Assemble filters by attaching screens to brackets. Follow work orders and instructions from colleagues. Assist in assembly and packing when necessary. Rotate between different stations as required. Ensure production targets are met efficiently. Essential Skills Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Capability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly. Experience in manufacturing or production for at least 6 months. Willingness to stand for 8 to 10 hours during shifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with production spot welding. Previous assembly work experience. General shop hand experience. Work Environment The work environment is a production setting focused on filter manufacturing for HVAC systems. It can become extremely hot during summer months and requires attention to safety due to limited maneuvering space. The facility is organized into sections for welding, assembly, and production, with approximately 30 employees operating during the first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Baltimore, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
