Summary:

The Production Operator primarily weighs, fills, seals, and labels grit products from bulk material into smaller package sizes. This position also assists with mixing raw components and other daily production duties while maintaining accurate weights, product quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Weigh and package bulk grit into specified quantities Fill, seal, label, and organize finished packages Verify product type, package weight, labeling, and lot information Mix and prepare production batches according to established formulas and procedures Perform basic quality checks and record production data Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and use required PPE Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs Assist with other production and warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team Previous production, packaging, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required

Teamwork Work Environment:
