Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Operator specializing in stamping to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping 400- and 300 ton presses and related machinery to produce high-quality metal components. press operator operates metal stamping and forming press machinery to manufacture automotive components in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate stamping presses and forming machines to produce metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications : Run stamping, roll-forming, or mechanical presses safely and efficiently. Inspect manufactured metal parts for defects and verify dimensions against specifications. Load sheet metal blanks, coils, or raw materials into the press line. Rack finished parts per specifications and move material crates to designated staging areas.
Troubleshooting:
Identify basic machine faults, clear scrap material, and assist maintenance during die adjustments. Skills 3 years in operating various manufacturing equipment including stamping presses, and hand tools Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and strict adherence to safety protocols during all operations Ability to perform shop math accurately for machine setup and measurement calculations Skilled in sheet metal fabrication processes including forming, cutting, welding, and assembly of metal components Experience with forklift operation is advantageous for material handling within the facility This role provides a platform for growth in advanced manufacturing techniques while ensuring every product meets our high standards.
Pay:
