Production Work - START TONIGHT - 3rd Shift

General Production Worker Job Description Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will be an integral part of our production line, assembling materials, operating machines, and ensuring quality inspections. You will be responsible for packaging components for shipment, and working collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities Work on the production line, assembling materials and operating machinery. Inspect parts before packaging them for shipment to ensure quality standards are met. Rotate through different positions on the line as needed. Work overtime when required, including some Saturdays, with shifts potentially extending to 12 hours. Essential Skills At least 6 months of recent experience in manufacturing. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, including handling car hoods made of plastic and foam. Visual inspection experience, with the ability to identify defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents. Demonstrated job longevity, with a minimum of 8 months at each of the last three jobs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical skills. Experience in machine operation. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our work environment is a plastic manufacturing facility that can get warm in the summer. You will be working closely with a team, under the guidance of an operator. The dress code includes work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, and safety glasses. For safety reasons, long fingernails are not allowed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.95 - $16.95/hr.
