Shelby Foam Systems' a division of Magna Seating manufactures foam seat cushions, backs, armrests and head rests used in the automotive industry. Shelby Foam Systems' operates on three shifts. Employees must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and some weekends as required by customer production schedules. All jobs are done while standing.Labor type:

- Overtime (willing to work) Key Responsibilities Production Operators must be able to perform jobs in various areas of production including:
SPRAY:
Prepare molds so foam does not stick to the moldINSERT:
Inserts components in molds depending on part specificationDEMOLD/CLEAN
Foam is formed, part is removed from the mold, mold is cleanedTRIMMERS
Examine part and trim any excess foam from the part to determine necessary repairsINSPECTION/GLUE
Complete inspection of partREPAIR:
Repairs parts from inspection deemed necessary, second inspection is completedPACKOUT/BOX
Boxes are built, parts are sorted, counted, packed, labeled and scanned for shipment Key Qualifications/Requirements- No experience required. Will be trained. Typically bends, stoops, crouches, reaches, grips, grasps and pinches on a regular basis to access material product components and equipment. Regularly moves about to coordinate work on the plant floor. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10lbs, and push/pull up to 20 lbs. Constant standing. Overtime may be required.
