Hours :
40 hours per week
Position Requirement :
Up to 2 per shift, dependent on customer requirement
Role Description:
The Production Support role will be utilized to assist with our most basic, non-technical, recurring and routine tasks required as part of the production process. This role is designed to allow our production operations team to apply undivided focus on keeping production lines running and producing finished goods product to satisfy customer demand. Main responsibility for the role will include the following: 1. Grinding Process Scrap 2. Building Finished Goods Pallets 3. Pulling Finished Goods from the Lines and Packaging Finished Goods for Shipment to the Customer 4. Removal and Proper Disposal of Trash from the Production Area 5. Removal and Proper Placement of Empty Pallets from the Production Area Persons holding the Production Support position will possess the ability to safely navigate our production floor, safely operate a forklift, efficiently handle and feed into our granulators moderately heavy scrap material, safely and effectively use a pneumatics nail gun, miter saw and tape measurer, and work on their feet for long periods at a time,
Requirements:
Required:
  • On-Site training and certification for the operation of an electric forklift
  • On-Site training on the use of a pneumatic nail gun, and miter saw
  • On-Site plant and basic safety training

  • Forklift experience Highland Plastics Inc.
