The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various technical skills. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with large stamping presses. The Technician will be responsible for stamping, assembling components, conducting repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently. Job description We are seeking a full time with paid benefits Press Tech for the first shift to produce steel, aluminum, and prototype parts on a hydraulic press. Previous die/press set up experience is required. Operate 2000 + ton presses.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
Experience in development and design new tools and dies. Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators. Ability to read blueprints Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects. Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
Employment Requirements:
