Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Growth Opportunity Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Fraser, MI, is seeking dependable and motivated Press Operators to join their 3rd shift production team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for direct hire after 90 days, based on performance and attendance. Once hired directly, employees become eligible for company-paid benefits after their first 60 days as a direct team member. What We Offer $15.40/hour $40 Perfect Attendance Bonus every week Overtime opportunities available Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity for direct hire after 90 days Growth opportunities within the company Company-paid benefits available after conversion and eligibility period Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Job Responsibilities As a Press Operator, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing and inspecting plastic components.
Responsibilities include:
Operate and monitor production and injection molding equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and quality specifications. Review work instructions and Quality Alerts before beginning production. Trim excess material or flash from finished parts as needed. Sort, inspect, package, and label finished products. Produce and assemble sub-assemblies for production lines. Connect various parts, components, and switches. Load conveyors and maintain proper material flow. Stock parts and handle production materials as required. Complete required testing, production paperwork, quality records, and documentation. Apply internal and external labels accurately. Identify and report product defects or quality concerns. Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement activities. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA-required safety standards. Assist team members with additional production duties as needed. Qualifications 1 year of injection molding or press operator experience preferred, but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong attendance and punctuality. Reliable transportation is required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to learn multiple production functions and assist the team as needed. Attendance Bonus Employees who meet the company's perfect attendance requirements are eligible to receive a separate $40 bonus each week. That's an opportunity to earn approximately $2,080 in additional bonuses per year with consistent perfect attendance. Schedule & Pay 3rd
