Job Summary:
An operator will assemble parts via injection molding while also maintaining the highest industry standards as established by Grand Traverse Plastics Corp.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs process and quality verifications.
- Load assembly fixtures.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in part production.
- Visually inspect parts for any defects during molding and assembly per job instructions.
- Fill out downtime and/or defective part sheets.
- Ability to comprehend work orders.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to multitask in role to maintain production standards.
- Acts as first person for verifying and understanding safety protocols.
- May be certified in hi-lo and/or overhead crane operation.
