3rd Shift Machine Operator - Assembly Production

Job Summary:

An operator will assemble parts via injection molding while also maintaining the highest industry standards as established by Grand Traverse Plastics Corp.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs process and quality verifications.
• Load assembly fixtures.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in part production.
• Visually inspect parts for any defects during molding and assembly per job instructions.
• Fill out downtime and/or defective part sheets.
• Ability to comprehend work orders.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to multitask in role to maintain production standards.
• Acts as first person for verifying and understanding safety protocols.
• May be certified in hi-lo and/or overhead crane operation.

Qualifications, Experience, and Specific Skills Required:

Education/Experience:

High School or equivalent preferred, no prior experience necessary.

Specific Skills:

Maintain professional working relationships. Communicate effectively with co-workers. Remain in stationary position for majority of shift. Frequently transport items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour
