We're recruiting a Machine Assistant for a company that produces instant lottery tickets, where printing technology, color, and precision come together to create a product people recognize. Join the press team and play a hands-on part in turning paper and ink into finished tickets. If you enjoy working with equipment, staying active, and seeing the results of your work, this role offers plenty to get involved in. You'll prepare materials, mix inks, support press setup and changeovers, and work alongside operators to keep production moving safely and accurately—all while building specialized printing skills. - Keep production supplied: prepare new paper rolls and move printed rolls to the next stage of production.
- Work with color: handle and mix inks, monitor viscosity and pH, and keep ink inventory organized.
- Help operators get presses ready for production, including setup and changeovers.
- Support preventive maintenance, cleaning, chiller upkeep, roll identification, and foil-related press tasks.
- Protect product quality and your team by following safety, quality, and security procedures and keeping a clean work area.
- Pitch in with daily press operations and other assigned tasks to keep the team moving. Who You Are

- Comfortable using database or spreadsheet software at an intermediate level.
- Able to differentiate between colors.
- Interested in cross-training, learning different tasks, and helping others build their skills. What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED and the ability to meet the required mechanical aptitude assessment standard.
- An understanding of flexographic and digital printing press manufacturing processes.
- Printing, general manufacturing, and tool-handling experience are assets.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds. The role involves handling anilox sleeves weighing 20-25 pounds, plate sleeves weighing 15-20 pounds, ink pails weighing 45-50 pounds, and ink drums weighing up to 650 pounds.
- Ability to wear steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and other required personal protective equipment.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 36.0 per week
