What You'll Get to Do The Production Assembler/Operator is focused on custom fabrication of aluminum doors, storefront & curtain wall by utilizing fabrication packets, architectural drawings, cutting aluminum, drilling and punching holes, and installing hardware. This position reports to the Fabrication Lead. This role is perfect for an individual who is driven, committed, detail oriented, and a team player. As a vital member of the Fabrication Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
Fabricate aluminum doors, storefront, & curtain wall by utilizing fabrication packets Ability to read architectural drawings and schematics Regular and predictable attendance Safely perform quality tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures Ability to communicate appropriately, complete paperwork, interpret basic mathematical measurements, and use a tape measure Notify lead or supervisor of any mechanical material issues What We Are Looking For Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to work overtime if needed High mechanical aptitude Stand and walk on concrete floor for eight hours or more Wear company issued safety shirt, hard hat, steel toed boots, safety glasses and hearing protection Computer experience preferred Position Pay Range $23
