Schedule:
2ndShift:
2pm-10pm Monday-Friday 3rdShift:
10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday This position will work across multiple areas, including extrusion, converting, printing presses, tubing, and material handling. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or warehouse experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn and operate different types of equipment.Responsibilities:
Set up and operate production machinery, including extruders, converting equipment, tubing equipment, and printing presses. Load and feed materials into machines and make adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and machine issues. Monitor production and perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and SQF requirements. Package and stage finished products for shipment. Receive, weigh, verify, and move raw materials using a forklift. Supply production departments with materials needed to maintain production. Assist with training and cross-training in various production areas.Qualifications:
Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues. Previous machine operating, setup, or forklift experience is a plus. Comfortable with full machine setup and adjustments. Ability to read a ruler/tape measure to 1/16 of an inch. Ability to perform basic math and understand imperial and metric measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. IND123Pay:
