Temp-to-hire | Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Line Leads for a leading manufacturing company in Eden Prairie, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure smooth production operations by setting up equipment, performing changeovers, and supporting quality output. If you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting machinery, and guiding others on the line, this could be an excellent fit. Read below for more details! What You'll Do as a Line Lead Set up, change over, troubleshoot, and operate production equipment to meet the output schedule Perform operator-level preventive maintenance (belts, oil, gaskets, inspections, etc.) Ensure timely, accurate changeovers with first-pass quality Maintain a "line stop" mindset when equipment, quality, or safety issues arise Report major or recurring problems to the maintenance team Support and improve production-related portions of the quality system Pull samples and conduct basic testing (e.g., tensile testing) Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures are followed Complete all line paperwork accurately and in compliance with company/government standards What You Need to Bring to the Line Lead Role High school diploma or GED 2-3+ years of production experience Previous lead experience in manufacturing (GMP/FDA environments preferred) Ability to train others; train-the-trainer certification preferred English fluency for communicating with production, maintenance, and quality teams Ability to read and follow changing specifications, SOPs, and quality documents Math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; working with fractions/decimals; calculating averages, net weights, and percentages Strong mechanical aptitude for setup, teardown, troubleshooting, and PMs Ability to follow written procedures and adapt to new products or requirements #EdinaJobs Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
