Manufacturing Associate II

We're a small business that is growing very quickly. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, responsible, and highly capable. This person must take pride in their work, be able to problem-solve, and pay attention to detail. We put an initial emphasis on looking for a candidate who has an inclination towards mechanical and electrical systems, but with long-term growth in mind, we also give great value to candidates who learn quickly and/or are well-rounded and capable in other areas that will serve the company as we grow. We would like to start training the potential candidate within the next month in our Eden Prairie location Skills/Qualifications include: Proactive with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Self-started with the initiative to tackle tasks solo. Detail-oriented and meticulous in order to obtain top quality results. Mechanically-inclined with the necessary dexterity and experience to operate common hand tools and processes. Hard-working and diligent in all tasks - stays busy and accomplishes work efficiently. Good listener that is able to take direction and learn quickly. Honest, trustworthy, and of classic values. Well-rounded and flexible to perform a variety of tasks effectively. Communication skills in order to effectively speak and interact with others.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing materials for assembly using a variety of hand tools and otherwise. Assembling parts, subassemblies, and whole products using various hand tools according to established procedures. Verifying specifications and measurements. Ensuring parts fit properly and troubleshooting any malfunctions. Performing repairs on used and/or damaged products. Boxing and shipping products. Ensuring the work environment is clean and safe. Maintain tools and equipment in good, working condition. Assisting on a variety of new product development initiatives and otherwise.
