Mon.

• Thurs. 5am
• 3:30pm or Mon.
• Thurs. 6am
• 4:30pm.

Pay:

Up to $21.00/hr. DOE,

• Weekly opportunities often available to pick up additional overtime hours!

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is responsible for operating various metal manufacturing equipment within an assigned area as directed. The Production Operator accurately and efficiently completes orders to established procedures and quality standards. Production Operators job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Spot Welding Running a Punch Press Grinding Cutting Frames Hole Punching Running a saw chop/band Using hand tools Assembling parts Using a Rivet Gun

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Operate machines to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved.
• Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements.
• Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates.
• Ensure the safe operation of equipment.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.
• Maintain full working knowledge of all processes.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Preferred:

• Two plus years of experience in a relevant manufacturing setting.
• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.

E.D. certification.
