Work Setting:
Onsite CTG is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to support a high-volume print and document production environment in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service, time-management, and computer skills who enjoys hands-on work in a collaborative production setting. Responsibilities Operate high-volume digital and color printers, copiers, scanners, and fax equipment. Receive, review, electronically log, estimate, schedule, and track customer print jobs. Operate finishing equipment such as cutters, binders, folders, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers. Inspect print files for font, formatting, image-resolution, and registration issues. Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs. Scan, index, prepare, and convert hardcopy and electronic documents. Integrate variable data into established print templates. Sort, process, and distribute printed and digital materials. Track, archive, back up, and store completed jobs for future use. Perform basic equipment cleaning and operator maintenance. Collect meter readings and maintain production and billing logs. Troubleshoot basic production issues and coordinate service when needed. Apply asset tags and maintain accurate equipment records. Assist with equipment moves, additions, and changes. Respond to customer supply and service requests. Provide basic equipment training to customer end users. Help develop production processes and templates as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Post-high-school technology training or relevant work experience. At least one year of customer service experience. Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to follow instructions and complete work accurately and efficiently. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to create spreadsheets, use standard formulas, sort and filter data, create graphs, and import or export information. Comfortable using email, web-based applications, shared network drives, files, and printers. Basic math skills, including multiplication, division, and percentages. Strong communication, professionalism, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Xerox production equipment. Experience operating high-volume printers, copiers, scanners, or mail-processing equipment. Familiarity with bindery and finishing equipment. Experience with print production, document imaging, file conversion, or production services.
