At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture. Summary CHS is seeking a 2 nd shift Union Production Worker to join our Lubricants Plant team in Inver Grove Heights, MN . This position offers 2 nd Shift hours 3:00pm-11:00pm Monday - Friday , onsite training, competitive pay & benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of the largest cooperative in the U.S. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and distribution operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Team members operate production and material handling equipment, package products in a variety of container sizes, fulfill customer orders, perform equipment inspections and maintenance, and assist with plant housekeeping and grounds maintenance activities.
Compensation Data Salary Range:
$22.25/hr This is a union role. Wages are based on the collective bargaining agreement Responsibilities Work extensively in a manufacturing environment packaging lubricant products in various container sizes. Periodically work in a warehouse environment picking orders and/or receiving inventory. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Enter order and production data into computer systems. Complete required paperwork, production records, and reports. Follow established product, packaging, labeling, and customer specifications. Perform changeovers and end-of-run cleaning activities as directed by the Process Lead and Shift Manager. Learn and comply with all quality, environmental, safety, and operating procedures and policies. Record production information, equipment performance, and downtime as required. Perform general labor duties throughout the facility, including material handling, housekeeping, machine operation, and painting. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (required) Knowledge of Production and/or Operations Additional Qualifications Experience in operations, manufacturing, or similar Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands High School diploma or GED preferred Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse.
