General Production Worker Job Description As a General Production Worker, you will be contributing to the initial stages of the production process by either stacking lumber coming off a conveyor belt or building boxes according to customer orders. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read work orders and use hand and power tools effectively. Responsibilities Stack lumber onto pallets as it comes off the conveyor belt. Build boxes per customer specifications, which may vary in size. Read and interpret work orders, including dimensions. Utilize hand and power tools efficiently. Measure materials accurately using a tape measure. Essential Skills Experience in production, general labor, or assembly. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret tape measures and work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications A minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience. At least 6 months of experience using a tape measure. 6+ months of experience with hand and power tools. Why Work Here? The standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
