Job Description
Stator Winder - Electrical Manufacturing Position Summary The Stator Winder is responsible for the insulation, coil winding, and electrical hook‑up of stators used in industrial motors and generators. This role follows established standard work, utilizes hand and power tools, and performs tasks according to detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality specifications. Candidates must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and adherence to manufacturing safety practices. Primary Responsibilities Prepare and insulate stator cores following documented procedures and engineering specifications Wind coils and perform electrical hook‑ups using approved methods and tooling Interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and production travelers Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete winding and assembly operations Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per company safety and 5S requirements Support additional production tasks or duties within the job classification as assigned Required Skills & Experience Experience in production, mechanical assembly, or electrical assembly Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints Competent using torque tools, gauges, meters, and measuring instruments Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in stator winding, motor assembly, electrical assembly, or related work Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and insulation materials Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 9001 preferred) Knowledge of coil winding processes or electromechanical assembly Compensation & Benefits Competitive wages with bonus opportunities Day‑one eligibility for medical, dental, and vision benefits Industry‑leading 401(k) program with exceptional company match Paid time off, paid holidays, and additional wellness resources Tuition reimbursement and skills‑development programs to support long‑term career growth Work Environment This position operates on the production floor in an industrial manufacturing setting. Team members regularly work with hand and electrical tools, stand for extended periods, and lift materials up to 50 lbs. Proper PPE and adherence to safety standards are required at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of North Mankato, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $51126.00 - $65368.00/yr.
