Hours:
6am-2:30pm, M-F, OT as needed

Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Health Insurance, 401KJob is Contingent on: Drug screen, and Resume Job SummaryThe General Labor employee assists with the production of custom foam and wood packaging products. Responsibilities include preparing materials, operating basic hand and power tools, assembling and packaging products, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with the fabrication and assembly of custom foam and wood packaging products.

Measure, cut, trim, and shape foam and other materials according to work orders and specifications.

Load and unload materials from production equipment and workstations.

Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and properly.

Assemble crates, pallets, foam inserts, and other protective packaging components.

Inspect finished products for quality, proper dimensions, and workmanship.

Package, label, and prepare completed products for shipment.

Move materials and finished products throughout the production area using carts, hand trucks, or other equipment.

Follow work orders, drawings, measurements, and supervisor instructions.

Maintain accurate production counts and documentation as required.

Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.

Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

Report equipment problems, material shortages, or quality concerns to a supervisor.

Assist other departments and perform additional production duties as needed.

Qualifications & SkillsPrevious manufacturing, packaging, woodworking, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.

Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Basic measuring and math skills.

Comfortable using hand tools and learning to operate production equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Ability to lift and move materials as required for the position.
