Job Title:
Elevator Production Worker Job Description This role supports multiple production operations, including wiping screens, screen printing, mini mill operation, and shipping. You will work on a fast-paced production line, performing repetitive but highly detailed tasks that directly impact product quality. The position requires steady hands, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Responsibilities Perform wiping operations on screens as trained, carefully removing residue without damaging the product. Use steady, precise hand movements to wipe designated areas and avoid errors that could result in scrapped parts. Remove paint and repaint turnbacks or rejected parts when needed, following quality standards. Maintain a clear, clean work area around screen printing equipment to avoid contaminating paint or finished products. Essential Skills Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on precise, repetitive tasks without losing accuracy. Steady hand coordination suitable for detailed wiping and handling small parts. Ability to work on a production line, meeting established production standards and quotas. Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and apply training consistently to daily tasks. Basic understanding of quality standards and willingness to check parts thoroughly for defects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in warehouse production, production line work, or production assembly is beneficial. Background in detailing or quality-focused work is a plus. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
quality systems and customer quality standards is advantageous. Prior forklift driving experience is a plus for shipping roles. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a climate-controlled production facility with a structured yet comfortable atmosphere. First shift typically runs from 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with flexibility available based on daycare situations, and Fridays from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Second shift runs Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Shipping operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Work is performed on and around production lines and machinery, including screen printing equipment, mini mills, and forklifts in shipping. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with employees expected to maintain neat and orderly work areas. During work, employees may watch movies on their phones or listen to music, as long as it does not interfere with safety or productivity. Dress code is typical for a production and warehouse setting, with appropriate protective equipment used where required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Wing, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
