(NO H-1B or Corp to Corp)(Local candidates only) Please note that position is Onsite, 5 days a week, Day shift. Contract 12-18 month The client will consider a recent college graduate with Associate's/Bachelor's degree who took classes in Electronics or similar to Electronics.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Required Qualifications Light assembly, manufacturing background Solid communication skills Good eye/hand coordination to build the fiber optic products. Ability to pay attention to details. Ability to effectively work within a team environment. May be required to do physical lifting up to 40 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Some level of experience working with electrical or fiber optic wire products, and smaller components. Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Build samples of fiber optic products and support moderate levels of production assembly. Complete samples and production assemblies per the required timeline. Collect, read, and record product test data in the data systems Communicate issues in a timely manner to the engineer or operations lead.
Other Department Duties and Responsibilities:
Exhibit a necessary level of competency with a broad range manufacturing tools and equipment, lab test equipment, and fiber optic products, after some training. Follow department safety and efficiency programs. Complete training in lab processes, procedures and test methods, as required. Collaboration with current lab staff, which includes other engineers and technicians in a team-oriented environment. Candidates must provide their phone number. Job reference code is A5502 .
