Position Summary 2nd shift Production Machine Operator The Food Manufacturing Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining high-speed production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, product quality, productivity, and teamwork while meeting demanding production schedules. Operators must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving materials throughout the shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate, adjust, and monitor food processing and packaging equipment to ensure efficient production. Maintain production rates and meet daily output goals in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Perform equipment inspections, startups, shutdowns, and changeovers according to established procedures. Monitor product quality and immediately report or correct deviations from specifications. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and communicate equipment concerns to maintenance personnel and supervisor/manager. Accurately complete production records, quality checks, and operational documentation. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF (Safe Quality Food), food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and company policies. Assist with product, packaging, ingredient, and material movement throughout the facility. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work effectively as part of a production team to support continuous operations and meet customer demands. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials throughout the workday. Regularly handle products, ingredients, and equipment components weighing up to 50 pounds. Team-lift or use mechanical assistance for loads exceeding 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 8 to 12-hour shifts. Frequently bend, stoop, twist, reach, climb, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and production environments. Capable of safely operating in a fast-paced setting with constant movement and production demands. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Previous manufacturing, food production, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to follow written procedures, production instructions, and safety requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as required. Work Environment Fast-paced, high-output food manufacturing facility. Continuous machine operation and production activities. This position is classified as heavy industrial work and requires frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and more than 50 pounds with team assistance or mechanical lifting devices. Employees must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks throughout the duration of their scheduled shift.

Pay:
