Job Duties Set up and operate press brakes to form sheet metal components according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and routine setups as production requirements change Operate additional fabrication equipment including lasers, shears, deburring machines, notchers, and turret punch machines Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy Complete basic shop math and measurements required for fabrication processes Monitor equipment performance and maintain quality standards throughout production Work safely and follow all company safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical training in metal fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or blueprint reading is beneficial. Experience Requirements Ability to safely operate press brake equipment and related fabrication machinery. Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and production specifications. Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, angle gauges, or micrometers. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.
